Meet Kipling
Winter is coming! You NEED this professional lap warmer!
Kipling was a friendly stray living near a VERY busy road in Norwalk. He was relying on the kindness of strangers to get by. He considered himself very lucky when he made friends with the construction workers who were working on the road near where he was living. He found that by talking to the workers and maybe rubbing up against their legs he could usually talk them into giving them a bite or two of their lunches. The workers named him "Tiger".
We thought a handsome man of his stature deserved a more fitting name so we renamed him Kipling in honor of the Rudyard Kipling story Tiger! Tiger!.
Living on the side of a busy road was no life for Kipling and we were able to coax him into a carrier. Truth be told it didn't take much coaxing - promises of some ear scratches and a nice meal were all it took.
This dashingly handsome young man waits patiently for the moment that a lap makes itself available and he's right in it. As you pet him, he gazes up at you as he purrs with affection and appreciation. He will repay your love 100 times over!
He loves chilling in the window and playing with string toys but by far his favorite past time is to be with people and be loved.
Kipling will adjust to his new home in about 10 minutes! He is a self-confident cat who might be best suited to a home without small children.
You might ask yourself why such a wonderful cat is without a home. Kipling has tested positive for FIV+. He can live a long & healthy life but should be an indoor cat.
Kipling is about 6 years old, neutered, current on his vaccines and is microchipped.
Adopt Kipling and bring a little piece of the jungle into your home to love!
