I have been in my foster home for a month now & my foster mom has noticed that I do take quite a bit of time (which is common to have an adjustment period) to adjust to different situations. The 2 things that help me adjust the most are a patient & loving caregiver that keeps in mind I am still a puppy. I also enjoy & feel more at ease if my new forever home had a outgoing & dog friendly fur friend for me to play with!

Hi, my name is Canyon & I am a very handsome 6 mos. old boy looking for my forever home! When I came into rescue I was a very scared boy, but my foster family showed me that there is no reason to be scared & that it's ok to have fun! Now that I have come out of my shell I enjoy exploring all kinds of new things now! My foster mom refers to me as a "A bundle of joy!" & I have to agree when I come into a room faces do light up with joy! Some of my favorite activites include playing with my other puppy friends, dragging my toys throughout the house, getting belly rubs & cuddle time! I am still working on some basic commands & have to say I'm doing very well because my foster mom tells me I'm a good boy all the time & gives me treats...yummy!!! I love treats!! I am currently living with children, other dogs & cats & interact very well with everyone.

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $275___.

We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
