Pinky Scottish Terrier Rochester, MN

Meet Pinky! She is a 3 yr old 17 lb Scottish terrier. Pinky came from a family that moved to an apartment that did not allow dogs, so she needed to find a new home. She was best friends with the little girl in the home, and would love to find a new family with children to play with and keep her company. She is her foster dad’s shadow, and would love a constant human companion, even if that means there is just someone around to sleep next to all day.

Pinky has her choice of where she wants to sleep at night, and either cuddles in bed with her foster dad, or gets comfy on a pillow on the floor in the bedroom. She hangs out in the bedroom when left alone as well. 

Pinky is being fostered in a home with another dog, and although she has come to tolerate him, she would do best in a home as the only dog. She will react to dogs when on a leash, so a fenced in yard would be ideal for Pinky as well.

Pinky is house-trained, but doesn’t let you know when she needs to go out, so a consistent schedule of potty breaks will be needed to get her used to the routine in her new home. She will bark to let you know someone is at the door, or passing by the window, but is friendly with new people. Pinky responds to sit, but could use a little work getting it down completely. She eats twice a day, but may not always finish her meal in one sitting.

Pinky will be a great addition to any family as long as she is the only 4-legged family member in the home. She is a sweet, cuddly little girl looking for a forever home to share her love with. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and heartworm and parasite free. Her adoption fee is $300

Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philosophical opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
