Bobbie Sox-I'm a "Dorkie" Dachshund & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Temecula, CA

WATCH MY VIDEO!  Meet Bobbie Sox! She is a 10lb, 3 year old wirehair Dachshund/Yorkie mix.. Better known as a “Dorkie”.  She was rescued out of the Redlands animal shelter where she patiently sat for a month, hoping to be adopted. She was abandoned outside the shelter in the middle of the night and no one ever came forward to reclaim her. Once again we are left wondering how anyone could of let such a wonderful dog go. She is very loyal and we are quite certain that she did not simply wander off from her previous home.

 

Bobbie Sox is such a fantastic dog that we really do not know where to start.  She is what I call a true “companion” type of a dog. She is a loyal, agreeable, absolute joy to be around.  She is very interactive and in tune with her person. She is friendly, docile, submissive, minds well , is very smart and affectionate with people. She wants to make friends with everyone she meets, both male and female, and will very gently and passively come up to say hello.  She rides great in the car and seems to enjoy taking in all the scenery.  She is a wonderful travel partner. I can tell she feels special and is in her element when she is being a companion with her person. The ultimate companion dog!

 

She also likes to go for walks and will prance along right out in front.  She sleeps quietly through the night right by her person. She is doing great with house breaking and her house manners are wonderful. She is not a barker and she has a nice enjoyable energy level. She is up for anything you want to do but also content to quietly lay by your feet. Bobbie Sox gets along with other dogs, both large and small and will invite other dogs to play with her.
