Our Mission
WV Pet, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non profit rescue organization. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who want to help reduce the number of dogs being euthanized by pulling them from local kill shelters and placing them in foster homes until their forever homes can be found. This includes helping to place owner surrenders to keep them from entering kill shelters. We also provide educational information to pet owners and promote the importance of spay and neuter.

Adoption Policy
WV Pet Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization that was started in February 2012 and is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers. We pull dogs from high kill shelters in WV and PA, and we also help place owner surrenders to try and keep them from entering kill shelters. All of our pets are in foster homes as we DO NOT have a facility. Our adoption fees are $160 for puppies, and you are required to have them spayed/neutered when age-appropriate. Our adults dogs are fully vetted and their fee is $200. If interested in adoption, please visit our website at https://wvpetinc.wordpress.com/adopt_a_pet/ to complete an application. There is a $10 application fee that can be paid via the Paypal link in order for your application to be processed, and you will also find more information about our adoption process and a copy of our adoption contract.
