West Virginia Meowtainears Cat Rescue
Our Mission
WV Meowtainears Cat Rescue is a dedicated organization committed to rescuing and rehoming the growing population of cats in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program and adoption initiatives, we work tirelessly to provide these feline friends with the care and loving homes they deserve.
Adoption Policy
Adopters must fill out and sign the provided adoption application. They are then screened by our foster care team and if they are approved a member of the team will reach out to them to schedule a meet and greet and home visit. The home visit must be conducted before or during the meet and greet. This visit may be conducted via video chat or in-person. If the home is considered suitable and the adopter has maintained truthfulness then they will be cleared for adoption to an animal the foster team deems suitable for their family.
Upon adoption, the adopter must pay the designated adoption fee and sign the adoption contract provided through ShelterLuv.com
