Our Mission
The Buffalo County Humane Association has been helping homeless pets for more than 25years.  We began as a foster only organization and opened our first permanent shelter, the Jerome and Judith Benson Animal Shelter, in 2019.
We are a non-profit organization.

Adoption Policy
BCHA is an all-volunteer organization, so adoptions are handled by appointment only.
Interested adopters should submit an adoption application via our website, then our adoption team will contact them to make an appointment.
