Stacy's Funny Farm
Our Mission
Stacy's Funny Farm is a small non-profit pet sanctuary in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. We primarily provide Live Out Full Term care (LOFT) for small indoor pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, parakeets and cockatiels. We also provide sanctuary for older hens, ducks and drakes, domestic or feral. We even have two FIV+ alley cats. Animals come to us from individuals or adoption agencies with pets that are difficult to re-home for various reasons.
Adoption Policy
Because this is a sanctuary, I rarely adopt out. The adoptable pets in 2022 were born to an animal four days after I rescued her. I adopted out the babies to clear space for needy rescue animals. My primary concern was ensuring that the adopters spay/neuter these very young animals when they reach an age where it is feasible. Spaying a guinea pig requires specialized veterinary expertise and can be very expensive, but it helps to prevent serious medical issues common in older guinea pigs.
