Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue (ARCBCR)
Our Mission
We are so excited to have a new, updated space on PetFinder! Our dogs are ready to meet their furever homes!
We're a group of dedicated volunteers who's primary focus is to rehabilitate and rehome Border Collie, BC mixed breed and herding dogs. Together we hope we can help find you a new best friend and family member!
Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue (ARCBCR) is a dream come true for a passionate group of Border Collie lovers who have the good fortune of meeting, and befriending each other through past rescue work.
The purpose of ARCBCR is to rescue Border Collies and Border Collie mixes from situations that are neglectful, abusive, and inappropriate. We take in dogs from shelters, dogs found as strays, and dogs that can no longer be kept by their current families.
We provide a loving and caring foster home, all necessary veterinarian care, including spay or neuter, and any rehabilitation a dog might need to acclimate into their furever homes.
Please note that our rescue does not have a public facility, therefore there are no visiting hours. Appointments to visit with the available dogs are made after the application process has been completed by our volunteers.
