Our Philosophy
All creatures, great and small, shall be treated fairly and humanely. We shall work towards eliminating irresponsible breeding, irresponsible ownership, and animal suffering through education and humane programs.
Description
We place homeless pets with other approved rescue groups in more populated areas that are able to take in our county’s many unwanted pets or adopt them out locally if possible. We organize, finance, and provide transportation so that more companion animals can be saved and have a chance at a good life.

Adoption Policy
There is a constant pet overpopulation problem, therefore, pets only stay at the pound for a certain amount of time, before the Animal Control staff have to make the difficult decision to put down healthy good pets, to make room for the non-stop flow of new pets to come into the shelter. Don't get mad at the Animal Control Officer for doing his job, get mad that more people don't Spay/Neuter their pets. If more would spay/neuter, we could stop this overflow of pets that have to be euthanized.
