Who We Are & What We Do
Pause for Paws Incorporated is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit, foster-home-based shelter in San Antonio, TX.Â
Our mission is to rehabilitate and rehome San Antonio's abandoned street dogs. We give them all necessary medical care, loving foster homes for socialization/training, and finally wonderful forever homes. We are a no-kill rescue specializing in taking those dogs who need us the most
Adoption Policy
Our adoption fee is $300
Adoption fee includes microchip, spay/neuter, rabies vaccine with certificate/tag, all shots, and heartworm test.
Shot records, Petsmart coupons, and first-month heartworm prevention included with all adoptions.
Due to covid, we are now holding adoption events at the Petsmart location at Evans Rd./ Hwy 281 on various Saturdays from 12pm - 4pm.Â
