Easy Street Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Easy Street Animal Shelter strives to rescue and provide shelter for homeless and abandoned domestic animals. Our purpose is to provide a humane shelter in a "no-kill" environment provided the animal is adoptable and not a threat to human safety. We also hope to: -promote animal care awareness by sponsoring regularly scheduled vaccination clinics; -provide education for the need to control pet population through spaying and neutering and to provide these services; -produce special events which will raise awareness for the needs of these animals; -engage in other activities to educate the public about total animal health awareness beyond vaccination and neutering which will include, but is not limited to, heart worm prevention, animal behavior, nutrition, joint care and life stages care.
Adoption Policy
Adopting a furry family member is an easy process where we invite adopters to fill out an application with their family needs and we do our best to introduce our residents that might fit into the family dynamics.
We are a participating shelter with Pets for the Elderly and offer REDUCED adoption fees for adopters 60+.
We are open every Saturday morning from 9am-12 noon but will make an appointment 7 days a week to introduce you to our wonderful dogs who are all waiting for their own families.
