Our Mission

Spring Branch Rescue is a registered 501C3 non profit with a mission to rescue, protect, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for our furry friends. But we're not just any organization - we're taking on an animal crisis head-on in Houston. We need YOUR help to ensure a brighter future for these innocent souls. And it doesn't stop there! We welcome adopters from all over, from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest and even Canada. Together, we can rewrite their stories and give them the love they deserve. Take a look at our amazing adoptable animals currently in loving Foster Homes

Adoption Policy

Hi! Thank you for your interest! Please take a moment to read this. It will have almost all the info needed to apply for your future pet. We will go over transport and adoption fees.

1- We invite you to complete the adoption application only if you are ready to move forward, and not still looking at other rescues. If you have a current application with another rescue, please do not continue with our application process. We are looking for applicants that are serious about moving forward with adoption from Spring Branch Rescue. It helps us find the perfect match for you and ensures we get to know you better.

2-We review each application carefully because we truly care about finding forever homes for our animals. After we receive your application, we'll set up a phone interview to get to know you even more. It's important for us to ensure our furry friends are in good hands.

3-Rest assured, all our adoptable animals have received thorough vetting, including necessary medical care and microchipping for easy identification if they ever get lost. They also come with a health certificate for travel.

4- Visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org to learn more about our amazing rescue organization. We have listed a link on our page for reviews left by adopters here locally, The Pacific Northwest, Canada & The East Coast.

5- We are all Volunteers with Full Time Jobs trying to review all applications. Please allow time for us to review & contact YOU if it's a good match for the adoptable Pet.

Below you will find some important information, including the adoption application & transport fee information. Make sure to pick at least 2 dogs from our list. Just in case, the one you want is no longer available.

PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS & BE VERY HONEST, SO WE CAN FIND YOU THE BEST FIT FOR YOUR NEEDS AND OUR ADOPTABLE PET'S NEEDS. Applications not completed WILL NOT be reviewed. We take this application process very seriously.

LOCAL RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGE TO CHECK THE SHELTERS FIRST: Our city has an animal crisis. Local Shelters are now euthanizing animals every 24 hours. Ours are not at risk. Please check there first and return to us if you are still searching. You need to be part of the solutions in this city. Local residents will have an adoption fee, but not a transport fee.
