Going Home, A Rescue Transport LLC
Our Mission
Our purpose is to provide animal transport to move adoptable pets from areas where they are numerous and in danger of euthanasia in rural low-traffic, high kill shelters to areas of the country where they are wanted and safe. We support local rescues with their transportation needs and help rehome animals when needed due to extenuating circumstances. We temporarily foster animals who are not ready to travel due to medical conditions or are in need of a break from an especially long transport.
Adoption Policy
We market the animal in appropriate venues, receive and vet applications, set up meet and greet opportunities, visit the home in person when possible or virtually. The dog then goes into the home for a trial period of at least ten days during which time they have our support to deal with any issues that come up
