Adoption Policy
Application is available on our website; currently a PDF of 6 pages and must be emailed to adopt@caffeinatedcaninerescuetx.org to be reviewed. A phone call will be scheduled to discuss lifestyle, adoption goals and the pet's personality. A home visit or photos of the home along with reference checks of friends and Veterinarian will be completed.
Approved Applicants will then be offered - contact with the foster home (video/texts); meet-up if the adopter is local to the foster. After being matched to a dog - deciding on transport or 'take home' date, then a contact is signed and copies emailed to all parties. Our dogs are in foster homes in Brazoria County, Texas. Most dogs will TRANSPORT to their forever homes by 3rd party, rescue pays all fees which is included in the adoption donation.
