Our Mission
Passion for Paws Memorial Animal Shelter (PPMAS) is a non-profit organization founded by Patsy Vigil Scherrer and her husband, Michael, located in Nixon, Texas. PPMAS is a 501(c)3 not for profit shelter. The shelter offers a chance for unwanted, neglected, and stray dogs and puppies to be adopted into forever homes. It is with great effort to find forever homes for all dogs.
Adoption Policy
Once you find a potential adoptee, contact us and let us know who you would like to meet. Â We'll set up a time for you to come out and spend some time getting to know your possible new family member.Â

Our current adoption fee includes your new dog being spayed/neutered and up to date on all shots. Please call Patsy at 830-534-2256 for more information and if you are interested in adopting one of our dogs.
