Twilight Tails
Our Mission
Twilight Tails is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization. We are based in Fulshear, TX, just outside of Houston. Twilight Tails was initially formed (in 2017) to address the needs of senior dogs in shelters, strays, and dogs that are displaced after a family member passes way. Seniors are often overlooked and frequently euthanized in shelters. We aim to be their voice. As time wore on, we came to realize that there were dogs of every age needing our help. While our hearts are with the seniors, we are now an all age, all breed rescue. We are a foster based rescue and do our best to find our furry friends the best possible home. We take care of all of the basic vetting, and handle any medical issues should they arise. We can assist in arranging transport for our out of state adopters and are happy to arrange meet and greets for our local potential adopters.
Adoption Policy
Starts with a completed application. It is reviewed by our core team of 4 - we do reference checks (at least 2) and vet checks if applicable (even if their pets are deceased) to make sure the pets were altered, on hw/flea/tick prevention and utd on shots. We review videos of their home and yard. We interview the applicant and make a decision - Judy Einbinder makes the decision in discussion with whoever checked the references/vet.
