Feral House Kitten Rescue
Our Mission
Feral House Kitten Rescue is dedicated to stopping the proliferation of feral cats born on the streets of our neighborhood. We find, foster, and adopt pregnant ferals and their kittens in our rescue and foster network in order to prevent returning them to the street. We provide comprehensive first-year wellness care and spay/neuter surgery. We do not adopt out unvaccinated or un-sterilized pets.
Adoption Policy
We interview our adoptive families and make sure they have the proper environment for the kitten they choose to adopt. We have a comprehensive application and require that the homes are smoke free. We do home visits, help with environment set up, and require a one-week trial period. We also require adoptive parents to return the kitten to us (rather than re-home or put in a shelter) should circumstances change at any point (even years afterwards) and they need to surrender the pet. We also follow up three, six and 12 months post adoption to see how things are going.
