Our Mission

The purpose of this organization is to rescue and rehabilitate stray and abandoned cats and kittens in need, providing them with care, nurturing foster homes, and the socialization they need to eventually thrive in their permanent home. We are dedicated to finding loving, stable families for each adoptable cat we take in, ensuring they spend the rest of their lives happy, healthy, and off the streets. Through community education and partnerships with other nonprofits, we also aim to reduce the feral cat population in Houston through spay and neuter efforts.

Adoption Policy

Any applications submitted will be reviewed by our Board, and if it looks like a good fit we will contact you to set up a meet and greet with the kitty. At this time if you are interested in a formal adoption we will have you fill out the paperwork / adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

With adult cats we welcome you to come back multiple times before committing in order to get them comfortable with you, or we do a 7 day "sleepover" trial period after adoption to give the new kitty time to acclimate and show their true personality.

Kittens who are fully vaccinated and fixed can go home the same day if all supplies are set up in their new home.

Please note that young kittens are adopted in pairs, or to households that already have a cat or dog who will be a companion animal. This is for the kitten's wellbeing and also to prevent potential behavioral issues for a singleton kitten.

If a kitten is not yet spayed or neutered we will set the appointment up immediately after adoption paperwork is signed. We will take them for the surgery and can either release them next day into your care or keep them while they recover for a few additional days before you pick them up.
