WILSON COUNTY IS A CERTIFIED ANIMAL CONTROL AGENCY BY THE STATE OF TENNESSEE

Embrace human welfare, as well as animal welfare, and to deal with the interface between pets and society.
To Serve the Public
 The Purpose of Animal Control:
Is to introduce a curative rather than a repressive element in the community and build a friendly relationship.
The Main Role of the Animal Control Officer:
Approach the pet owner, as well as the animal, mainly as an advisor but with the administration of the law.
Adoption Policy
Adoptions - Puppy: $45.00 to adopt. If puppy is too young to spay/neuter, there is a $50.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Time limit to be given to have surgery done.
Adult dog: $45.00 adoption fee, a $50.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Time limit to be given to have surgery done, new owner is responsible for spay/neuter bill.
If already spayed or neutered, $100.00 adoption fee.
