Our Mission

Saving Sumter's Strays was founded in 2016 with the sole purpose of vamping up the rescue program at Sumter Animal Control. Our organization is the bridge between the shelter and a happy ending.

Our primary focus is helping the animals that find themselves in our local Animal Control. Our program has grown and evolved in the past couple of years. In addition to rescue networking, we are now responsible for the adoption program, as well as providing medical care and other supplies to enhance the care of the animals.
