Our Mission
The primary function of the Lancaster County Animal Shelter is to house and care for stray and surrendered animals. If stray pets are not claimed after a 5-day stray hold, the animal becomes the property of Lancaster County and are offered to animal rescues and to the public for adoption. You DO NOT need to be a Lancaster County Resident in order to adopt from the shelter.

Dogs - $100 Includes Spay/Neuter and Microchip
Cats - $80 Includes Spay/Neuter and Microchip
