The Abandoned Dogs of RI
Our Mission
The Abandoned Dogs of RI Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit that focuses on making Rhode Island a no kill state. We work with local shelters to take their dogs when they are near capacity so no dog has to be euthanized for lack of space. We also take owner surrendered dogs and find foster homes for them so they never have to see the inside of a shelter. Adopt. Foster. Volunteer.
Adoption Policy
All of our dogs are up to date on heartworm, flea and tick, spayed/neutered, and rabies. If one of our dogs has not yet been neutered/spayed at the time of adoption, the new family has 15 days to have him/her taken to the vet and show us proof of spay.Â
