Our Mission
About Carbon County Friends of Animals
Carbon County Friends of Animals (CCFOA) is a nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter dedicated to providing care, shelter, and love to abandoned, stray, feral, and abused cats. Established in 1997, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats in need, giving them a second chance at a happy life.
Located at 77 W. 13th St. in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, CCFOA operates solely on donations, fundraising efforts, and the support of compassionate volunteers. We are committed to non-lethal solutions to animal welfare, ensuring that every cat in our care has the opportunity to find a loving forever home.
Through community involvement and advocacy, we strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the value of every feline life. Every contribution, adoption, and act of kindness helps us continue our mission to protect and support the cats who rely on us. Together, we can make a difference!
