Our Mission
It is the mission of Columbia Gorge Humane Society to provide safe, loving, humane care for homeless or unwanted dogs and cats while working to find permanent homes for each. We believe every dog or cat deserves a second chance. Through education, spay/neuter voucher programs and community outreach we seek to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness. It is our mission to bring an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned animals and promote a clear path for long and healthy human-animal bonds within our community.
Adoption Policy
Our goal for adoptions is to find homes that will provide support, love and care for our animals for the rest of their lives. We work hard to find the best match between animals and people so that there is a good chance for a successful adoption. We perform reference checks.
