Rogue Valley Humane Society
Our Mission
The Rogue Valley Humane Society envisions a community where every healthy adoptable companion animal has a lifetime, loving home and all homeless animals receive the care and compassion they deserve until they are adopted by their forever family.
The Rogue Valley Humane Society provides compassionate care for stray, unwanted, displaced, and abandoned animals and works toward ending pet overpopulation so that there will be no more homeless pets. We are committed to placing every healthy, adoptable animal in a loving lifetime home, teaching responsible pet guardianship, and maintaining community spay-neuter programs.
Adoption Policy
Falling in love with a pet is easy to do and having their companionship can be very rewarding. Adopting a pet, however, is a big decision requiring a lot of time, money and commitment. RVHS encourages you to think through your decision before you adopt a companion animal. If you want to adopt a pet and you rent a home, you will need a statement from the owner that a pet is allowed. We accept adoption applications on a first come, first serve basis, unless a pet has needs that require specific qualities in a home.
We will request an adoption application prior to making an appointment to view our our guests. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
