TIPS - TNR in Clark County, Inc.
Our Mission
Clark County TIPS believes in ending the pattern of reproduction that leads to kittens being born outdoors and usually orphaned or surrendered to a shelter.
Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program focuses on sterilizing cats in the community where it is most sorely needed
Our Foster and Adoption Program gets adoptable animals out of the colonies/ off the streets and into warm, loving homes. We make sure cats and kittens are healthy, up-to-date on all vaccines, have a microchip, and are (obviously hah!) spayed or neutered prior to leaving our care.
Our Community Cat Pantry provides food to colony feeders, a community often comprised of the folks in our community that can least afford to feed so many. We also help individuals on a case-by-case basis as need arises and supplies exist.
Our Community Education Program aims to help members in the community learn how to help themselves while they are waiting for help from us. We help provide traps and training on using traps, transportation, and planning for trap days as well as educate on humane winter shelters, best feeding practises, and basic colony medical care.
Future planned Programs include a Compassionate Care Fund to help pay part or all of the bill for animals found outside with illnesses and injuries that require veterinary intervention, and so much more.
Adoption Policy
We have a simple, paper free Adoption process.
