Adoption Policy

The homeless dogs may be adopted 72–hours after their arrival at the Pound, Once cleared by our vet. By choosing to adopt a dog from the Stark County Pound you are saving a life and gaining a grateful companion.


NOTE: If you are viewing the dogs online, it is best to note the cage number of the dog you’re interested in, call the Stark County Dog Warden’s Office, and ask if the dog is still available before you make a trip to the Pound
