Our Mission
The SHDR is a 501c3 and works to help find the right forever home for each dog we rescue. We are always looking for volunteers to foster our pets and to help with many other jobs that are needed. All donations are tax deductible.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process requires an application, phone interview, and virtual home visit.
We are entirely foster-based and do not have a shelter where dogs are kept. For this reason, meets are set up ONLY with approved applicants and arranged with the foster family.
