Take Me Home Pet Rescue
Our Mission
It is the mission of this organization to save lives of dogs and puppies who are in high kill shelters with a risk of being euthanized within 72 hours. These animals find themselves in shelters due to abuse, neglect, being homeless or being surrendered by their owners because they are not wanted anymore.
The purpose of this organization is to rescue these animals from the shelters in which they will be killed, also helping the overcrowded shelters free up space.
The organization will then be responsible for the medical care of the animal which would include being examined by a veterinarian and their health needs met for any illnesses they might have. They will also be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
After their full medical check up they are then transported to foster homes who are part of a network of people who have applied and successfully passed the qualifications of the organization’s guidelines.
These people are willing to volunteer their time and open their homes temporarily until the animal is placed in it’s forever home. The final goal in the organization’s mission is the adoption of every fostered animal.
The animals will only be placed in their forever homes when their potential adopters successfully pass the application process which includes checking vet references, personal references and a home check.
