Our Mission
ACTion Programs for Animals (APA) is a progressive animal welfare group in Las Cruces, NM. We run an adoption center as well as a thrift store. We rescue most of our animals from the municipal shelter and rehab and ready them for adoption. We are one of the largest animal-welfare groups in Dona Ana County. We offer dogs, cats, and kittens for adoption on a regular basis. We also run the PAWS prison training program, from which most of our dogs are graduates.
Adoption Policy
All our adoptions are conducted in person at our adoption center. We are located at 537 N. Solano Dr. and open Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sat from 11 to 3 or by appointment. Our adoption center phone number is 575-571-4654.
