Iredell County Animal Services & Control Department
Our Mission
We have a rabies clinic on the 2nd Tuesday night of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. If your pet has a current rabies vaccination, bring written proof and it can get a 3 year booster vaccination. All rabies vaccinations will be available for $6.00.Â
Our primary duty is to protect the public's safety. We enforce the Iredell County Animal Control ordinance and other North Carolina laws pertaining to domestic animals. We operate the only Animal Shelter in Iredell County. We also provide education programs to school groups, church groups and other community organizations.
If you have lost your pet, please visit the Iredell County Animal Shelter as only you truly know what your pet looks like. Descriptions of pets can vary from one person to another.
Adoption Policy
The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies is $80.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the microchip, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/parvo vaccination and being de-wormed.
