Our Mission
The mission of Franklin County Animal Services is to protect the health and safety of Franklin County residents, to encourage responsible pet ownership, to provide shelter and humane care for all animals who enter the Shelter, and to adhere to the requirements in the Animal Welfare Act and related Administrative Code.
Adoption Policy
Adopters are allowed to visit animals in the animal shelter available for adoption. Once they decide to adopt, they are allowed to adopt as long as they do not have any outstanding issues or citations and have sterilized any animals they have previously adopted.
