Our Mission
Heart of a Lion Rescue's only goal is to find the perfect forever home for each cat and kitten that we take in. Every animal is evaluated by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered and given all vaccinations before they leave us. While in their foster home, we spend time evaluating their personality and temperament so that we place each one into the best forever home possible based on their individual needs and the needs of their new family.

Adoption Policy
Our rescue takes pride in matching the perfect family with the perfect pet. Our application is a little different from what you have seen from other rescues but that is because we are different. We also take in a large number of orphan bottle babies and do not review applications for any kitten under 5 weeks old (for go home between 8-10 weeks). If we do not have any kittens ready for adoption at the time of your application, it may be set as pending until we find a potential match. Sometimes this can take time, but we believe the best things in life are worth waiting for.
