Our Mission
The mission and vision for Dog Warriors Rescue is to save all dogs of all sizes by placing them into loving, forever homes. We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, certified 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization based in Cary, NC. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events.
The majority of our animals come from local animal shelters or owner surrendered, where overcrowding and overpopulation lead to the euthanasia of millions of healthy, friendly pets every year.
We are committed to providing the dogs that come into Dog Warriors Rescue with the best and approved foster homes, full vet care, and tons of puppy snuggles while they wait for their forever homes.

Steps for adoption:
1.Complete Application
2. Wait 48 hours for board members to review application
3. Reference Check
4. Phone Interview
5. Meet your future pup
6. Finalize Adoption
(Adoption waiver, $350 adoption fee, and receive vet records)
All of our animals are fully vetted. This means:
>Deworming
>Microchip
>Heart Worm Test
>6 mos of hw prevention
>3 mos of flea tick prevention
>Rabies
>Distemper
>Parvo
>Bordetella
>Fecal test
>Spay/Neuter
>First Grooming Appt.
>Wellness Check
EVERY adoptable dog is $350.00 This covers everything mentioned above & sometimes MORE for our dogs who need additional medical care.
