Friends of Horn Lake Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Horn Lake Animal Shelter, our mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and advocacy for stray, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community. We are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventing animal cruelty, and working towards finding forever homes for every animal in our care. Through our commitment to education, outreach, and collaboration, we strive to create a more compassionate and humane society where every animal is valued, loved, and protected. We believe that by working together, we can make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of animals and the people who cherish them.
Adoption Policy
Stray animals are held a minimum of 5 business days to allow time for their owners to reclaim. After the "stray hold" is up, the pets are available for adoption!
New pets are listed daily! Check back often!
All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Dogs are tested for heartworms and cats are FeLV/FIV tested. They receive basic vaccines and a rabies as well. All pets are microchipped prior to leaving the shelter.
