Our Mission
Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a NO-Kill not for profit adoption organization operating in the Greater Kansas City Area. We are dedicated to helping homeless animals and displaced dogs and cats find loving, responsible, safe homes. Second Chance sponsors adoption events at Petsmart (2650 NE Vivion Rd KCMO). Between the events the animals are kept in foster homes of volunteers who socialize and tend to the animals.
Adoption Policy
Adoptions are a 4 step process
1) Find pet online/instore
2) Fill out a prescreening (take multiples per animal)
3) SCPAKC completes vet reference/ “no pet” options
4) Set up a meeting with the director-bring whole family/other pets
