Our Mission
Kitty Revolution is a volunteer-based, no-kill cat rescue in the Twin Cities, MN metro area that seeks to save the unwanted, the misunderstood, the less-than-perfect, and to help change the way the world sees cats through community education and outreach.
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten from Kitty Revolution, please fill out the online application. Someone will call/email you in a day or two.
All of our cats & kittens reside in a foster home. Once you've submitted an application and talked with one of our adoption coordinators, you will then receive a phone call or email from the foster caregiver to schedule a time for you to come meet the cat/kittens. If the kitten/cat approves of you, you will need to fill out an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Cats are $225; kittens are $250 (or $475 for a pair of kittens); purebreds are $500 (occasionally we take in owner surrendered cats who are purebreds).
Most of our cats & kittens are posted as a pair. If you're not adopting a pair, we do require that most of our cats and all of our kittens go to a home that has another animal friend.
All cats and kittens in our care will receive the following before they will be posted for adoption:
*Distemper vaccinations (two for kittens, one for an adult)
*FeLV/FIV testing (if the cat/kitten is positive for either, their bio will make note of that)
*Deworming (all cats & kittens will be given several rounds of deworming medicine)
*Microchipped (all microchips will be registered to Kitty Revolution)
*Spayed/Neutered
