Our Mission

Mama Dog Rescue rescues dog that are special needs, seniors, abused, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered to our rescue. Each dog we take in is fully vetted and we get to know the dogs personally. We are a holistic rescue and believe that healing starts with proper nutrition. We heal with herbs as well as other holistic remedies, we use Western Medicine only when absolutely necessary. Educating our adopters with proper nutrition, over vaccinating pets and the dangers of pharmaceuticals has become a propriety of ours. We bring them back around with patience, training, and tender loving care. Our rescue screens all of its applicants and we do a vet check as well, but we do not stop there, we do not believe in adoption events and we take each dog personally to their new home. This allows us to do a home and yard check as well as talking with the new owners and letting them know everything they need to know about their new family member. We let our adopters know that they can contact us at any time with any concerns or questions. We do follow up calls after each adoption. We make a follow up call after a week, a month, and yearly calls. We want to place the right pet into the right home so it's a perfect match for the pet and the owner.
