Our Mission
OUR MISSION: We believe that it is our responsibility to provide & facilitate the humane treatment of these most loyal & precious of God's creatures called "dogs". We subscribe to the proverb "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves." Prov. 31:8. Sadly, we live in an area where animal neglect is common and animal protection is not a priority. One person CAN make a difference. We have witnessed many amazing stories of rescue, compassion & LUV in our mission. We rescue neglected, abused, and stray dogs in our area. We then LUV them back to life. We raise awareness of the plight of these precious 4-legged souls & provide each dog with proper shelter, food, and medical care. We are a foster-based program and all of our dogs are kept in private homes where they are socialized & shown the love & compassion from a human which most have never received. We get them UTD on all vaccines, treat all illnesses, including HW treatment/prevention. We spay/neuter & microchip 100% of the dogs in our program. Once healthy, we find them forever families through our due diligence adoption process. We came to realize over time that we are ministering to both the dogs we save, as well as many of the humans we encounter. The majority of our pups have known only pain or suffering at the hands of humans. Our ultimate goal is to LUV these precious creatures back to life & then place them into a stable, safe home to be a part of a loving family. They deserve to experience respect & compassion for the remainder of their lives. WE ARE THE VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS. As a 100% volunteer organization, all donations are utilized towards the care of our dogs. Adoption Policy
All our adoption fees include spay/neuter, micro-chip, up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies. All of our pets are either tested heartworm negative OR are currently being treated with the slow kill method approved by our veterinarian, on prevention & on flea/tick prevention.

Please note that we are a DUE DILIGENCE adoption organization. Part of our approval process requires, among other things:
* Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered.
*The majority, but not all, of our pets require a fenced yard.
*Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heart worm Prevention history is a MUST!
*Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup with a safe environment to live.
*ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers,etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had a rough life prior to coming to us & we want to make sure that they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives.
Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog.
Must Luv Dogs reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.
*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.
* In order to give every family an opportunity to have a pup of their own, we keep our Adoption Fees at a low $150, but any additional donations are appreciated!
Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies. Alternatively, you are always welcome to come meet any of our pups at one of our regular Adoption Events.
