Purrs of Hope Rescue
Our Mission
PURRS of HOPE Rescue, Inc, we are a  501c3 non-profit organization located in Hammond, Louisiana. We depend on and are completely funded by donations and operate as an  all-volunteer organization. All donations are tax deductible.
Â
We are dedicated to rescuing our feline friends. There are hundreds of stray, feral and abandoned cats in our community that need our help and to be their voice.
Â
Purrs of Hope has a mission to  rescue and save homeless cats / kittens that have become strays or unwanted  by no choice of their own, We also pull cats  from high kill shelters. We provide them with vet care, to improve their health and give them the quality of life and love they deserve; while being fostered until adopted out to their Fur-ever homes. Â
Â
We are a no-kill organization. Once a pet comes into our foster care it will remain there until adopted or appropriate long term foster is found. Â All cat
