Our Mission
Save One Soul was founded in July of 2016 by a group of friends who share a love of dogs and a desire to help unowned and shelter animals. Shelters and Rescues do an excellent job at adopting young and healthy dogs to the public, and there are organizations targeting severe neglect and abuse. However, dogs with low to moderate level injuries and illnesses are frequently not deemed adoptable by shelters, and these dogs all to often get euthanized. It is our goal to save and rehabilitate these dogs by securing veterinary care and foster homes until they are ready for adoption.

Our Mission:
Save One Soul (SOS) is a Louisville, KY based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works toward improving the quality of life and welfare of pets in the Louisville and surrounding areas by providing veterinary care to unowned and shelter animals that are in the most urgent need.
Adoption Policy
Our pets are up-to-date on their vaccinations (parvo, distemper, rabies and bordatella). They are also spayed or neutered and microchipped.
Our adoption fee is $150.00, which is due at the time of final adoption.
We pride ourselves in a thorough screening process to assure the match is a good one. We currently adopt animals in the greater Louisvilel area only. The process may take 2 weeks from receipt of your application until the adoption is final.
