Kay Turpin Animal Rescue Fund, Inc.
Our Mission
KTARF is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting animals in need in the memory of our family member and friend, Kay Turpin. Kay was an Animal Control Officer in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky for 11 years. It our quest to carry on Kay's legacy by helping with the medical needs of rescue animals, promote spaying and neutering, as well as fostering and placement of those animals.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters meet with KTARF Members and the animal to determine if the pet and adopters are suitable for each other. If both agree that it is in the animal's best interest to be placed with the potential adopter, the adopter completes an application for further review. Once the application is reviewed, the next step is a home visit, either in person or virtually. Once home is approved, arrangements are made for the animal to go home to it's new family. All adopters agree to return the animal should they decide they can no longer provide a home for said animal.
