Pulaski Animal Center Inc.
Our Mission
Pulaski Animal Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer, all-donation supported rescue for unwanted and homeless dogs and cats in Pulaski County. The purpose of the center is to facilitate the placement of stray and unwanted animals and pets in desirable homes; to establish and maintain an animal shelter and associated procedures which promote the health, care, handling and prevention of cruelty to animals; and to educate the public about the humane care of animals and the importance of taking appropriate steps to prevent overpopulation.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters must meet animals in person. The potential adopter will then fill out our adoption application. Proof of rabies and sterilization for the potential adopter's other animals is required prior to adopting one of PAC's cats or dogs. In the event that the potential adopter is deemed to not be a good home or a good fit for a specific animal, the application will be denied. If the potential adopter is deemed to be a good home and fit for an animal, they have the option to adopt or foster-to-adopt prior to adopting. Our foster-to-adopt program is a two week trial that allows potential adopters to make sure that an animal will be a good fit in their home.
