Our Mission
We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. Â We are a no-kill shelter. Â All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.Â

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations. Â

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
