Our Mission
The Clinton County Humane Society (CCHS) is committed to preventing cruelty and improving the lives of our animal citizens. Our mission is to foster an atmosphere of communication and collaboration between local animal control and other rescue organizations to help find appropriate loving homes for unwanted domestic animals and to educate citizens of our community on the importance of proper animal care, spay/neuter programs and responsible ownership of an animal.
Adoption Policy
All of our dogs are in foster care and our cats our at our building in Breese, IL on Apple St. Please call 618-526-4500 or email ccilhs@ccilhs.org to set up a time to meet the animal you are interested in.
Meet and greets are the first and third Saturdays of the month. The locations change so keep an eye out in the local papers for where the event is taking place. Info can also be found on our website: www.ccilhs.org.
