Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue is a newly licensed rescue in Waterloo, Iowa. Our mission is to educate the community, advocate for our dogs and give displaced pit bulls a new leash on life.
All of our dogs are in volunteer foster homes. Our great volunteers give the dogs a second chance at life. Some of them are just learning for the first time what real love and family life is like. While they are in foster homes they are working on basic commands, house breaking, and manners. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. It is very important to us that our dogs go to the right homes and that their adoption is a forever one.Â

Adoption Policy
We are a volunteer based organization that works hard to place the right dogs with the right families. Â We want our dogs to have great, forever homes. Each of our available dogs stays with a foster family while waiting to be adopted. This ensures that the dogs stay socialized and remain in a family setting.Â
