We are a non-profit organization, our main goal in mind is getting homes and families for every animal that comes through our doors. No matter what it takes, we strive to fulfill the needs of the animals, and families alike.
Adoption Policy
Adoption made SIMPLE & ACCESSIBLE. Our adoption application https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ is a user-friendly, overall basic assessment of you, your family, your home-life, and your ideal match, so that we can help YOU find the right pet! Typically, applications are processed within the same business day, and if you're certain the pet is the right fit for you, give us a call, and we will process it ASAP!
Once your application has been processed and approved; we recommend coming in as soon as you are able to, as our adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis with our approved applicants.
Out of state adoptions are only done by pre-adopting, to ensure we can get a health certificate of inspection done ahead of time by our veterinarian team, to ensure they cross state lines in the best condition! We are able to have those done Monday-Friday, and all out of state adoptions must be picked up within a reasonable amount of time; that we will discuss with you!
