Hina's Legacy Rescue Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Hawaii, stands at the forefront of combating animal cruelty.
We are dedicated to a mission that encompasses:
Combat Animal Cruelty: Actively fighting against animal abuse in Hawaii.
Rescue and Rehabilitate: Saving and rehabilitating abused and neglected animals.
Advocate for Stronger Laws: Pushing for enhanced animal protection legislation.
Community-Driven Care: Fostering a compassionate community support system.
Rehome Animals: Finding loving homes for rescued animals.

Adoption Policy
Adoptions occur once the animal is fostered by the potential adopter (Foster to adopt)
Foster applies via application, application is reviewed and screened. If it is a right fit we do a telephone interview, then we do follow up calls with references. If everything checks out and references can vouche for potential foster parent, we proceed to a home inspection.
We do a foster trial period of a couple of weeks, with check ins on the animal. If all works out after foster period, the foster parent can move to adopt
