Cat Zip Alliance/Campus Cats
Our Mission
As of January 2023, Cat Zip Alliance/Campus Cats has adopted out over 2248 cats and kittens since we received our non-profit 501c3 status in 2007!
The mission of Cat Zip/Campus Cats is to humanely manage and reduce the number of homeless/community cats on the University of Georgia campus and surrounding neighborhoods and counties through our community cat/TNR program, barn cat program, and adoption program.
We will not take in or relocate unwanted cats. We cannot take in strays from the public. We will loan you traps and provide all the information and advice you need to safely trap the feral cats in your backyard or at your business in order to have them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, IF they are welcomed back to their home territory and will receive lifelong care (food, water, etc.)
Adoption Policy
Please contact us at feralcatcaregivers@yahoo.com in order to set up a time to meet our adoptable cats and kittens. We have a quick questionnaire we ask potential adopters to fill out so we can be sure we are making the purrfect match!
All of our cats and kittens are combo-tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and receive standard flea and worm treatments. Most will also be microchipped at the time of spay/neuter. In some cases where we have both the mom cat and her kittens, only the mom cat will be combo-tested.
Except for the barn cat program, we adopt to indoor-only homes, and require adopters to provide a cat carrier in order to safely transport their new family members home. We do not have a set adoption fee, but we do ask for an adoption fee of your choice so that we can help more cats and kittens. Our adoptions are not free.
If you are interested in mousers for your barn/farm, contact us about our barn cat program.
